There are no accounts, so there is not much to tell — which is the shortest honest summary of this page.
yk_id.
It holds no personal information; it is only how the board knows which
claims are yours. It is the only cookie this site sets, and nothing
it or the analytics below does is used to track you between
sites. No email addresses, no passwords, no location, no contact list, no advertising identifiers. Volunteers are never asked for any of it.
The public pages — this one, the homepage, and the help pages — load Tinylytics, which counts page views without cookies and without building a profile of you.
Boards do not load it at all. The address of a board contains its token, and for an organizer link that token is what lets you run the list — so it is not handed to anybody else, including an analytics service.
Anyone holding the link. Lists carry a noindex instruction
and are excluded from search engines, but a link pasted into a public
channel is public — treat the volunteer link the way you would treat the
group chat it lives in. Do not put anything on a board that would harm
someone if the link travelled: addresses of people at risk belong in a
unit like “Block 14 — 9 addresses”, with the detail somewhere else.
A list is deleted 180 days after the last activity on it, along with its units, names and log. Deleting a list deletes everything attached to it.
